The line between toy collector and professional toy designer has always been blurry.  But my passion for toys is very clear. I still design, blog and speak on toys… when I am not playing with them. I acquired more toys than I have room for.  Some of these are ones I worked on and others are vintage ones I played with.

I have spent over 35 years in the Toy Industry working for giants such as Mattel, Kenner, and Hasbro. I also led a design firm with clients of Disney, Fisher Price, DreamWorks, Jakks Pacific, MGM Studios, and more. Among the classic toys I have influenced are GI Joe, Star Wars, Jurassic Park, Marvel and Disney Princesses. One of the most fun projects was being the Creative Director of the animated series Princess Gwenevere and the Jewel Riders.

 

My first novel was published in 2019 and I continue writing a blog at TwelveInchTreasures.com with a focus on large action figures from a “behind the scenes” viewpoint.
